Does the
smell of coal smoke and the ringing of an anvil excite you? Would you like to learn to use metals in your art or make your own tools and iron implements for your home? Does the art
of Blacksmithing seem interesting to you? Then come join us. Learn to use Earth,
Air, Fire and Water to help you. D.A.B.A. is a non-profit organization established to teach the ancient art of Blacksmithing to anyone interested.
Dakota Artist
Blacksmith’s Association is a chapter of the national blacksmith association called
Artist Blacksmith Association of North America (ABANA). We meet once a month always
on the second Saturday and everyone brings their tools for a class. Metal
and lesson is provided and you get to take home what you made. We alternate between tools, and decorative items for our lesson so the education is well rounded. Come learn with us and help promote and
preserve an almost lost art.
